This year, students may be assigned a take-home project where the entire project is completed at home. In this case, the project will be explained and discussed in class and a rubric will be also sent home including a due date. If your child is absent on a day a project is due, the new due date for the project will be the day they return to school. Projects to be returned to the art room.
Occasionally, a project that we have been working on in class may be sent home for completion at the very end. In most cases if your child does bring home a project it is to be returned the NEXT DAY they return to school, to me by 2pm or it will be considered late, unless noted otherwise on this page. Each day a project is late 5 points will be deducted from the final grade. Students are always welcome to stop by and see me throughout the day with questions.
Thank you!
